Job Summary:
Industrial Engineers are involved in the planning, organizing, overseeing and handling of people, machines, and materials in Industries. Industrial engineers are expected to increase productivity by increasing the efficiency of employees and machines. Industrial engineers are generally hired in manufacturing industries. They are required to design safe processes for manufacturing and recommend safety measures. They have to be go-getters, set performance standards and see to it that they are met. In short, they are totally in charge of operations. They need to look after the worker concerns and at the same time take care of productivity. Industrial engineers can specialize as Methods engineer or Safety engineer. Industrial engineers usually end up in high management positions when they gain experience.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is essential.

Ranges from $45,000 to $100,000.
