Job Summary:
Audio and video equipment technicians are also known as Audiovisual technicians. Audio and video equipment technicians are required to arrange and manage audio and video paraphernalia. They should have sound knowledge of arranging microphones and sound speakers. They should set up video screens, monitors, projectors etc. These technicians are required to handle sound and mixing equipment. Audio and video equipment technicians arrange and maintain audio and video equipment for events, concerts, press conferences, sports, meetings, conferences etc. Audio and video should have strong technical aptitude and be willing to learn and master new technologies.

Qualification:
The minimum requirement for an Audio and video equipment technician is a high school diploma. A post secondary degree might help but is not a necessity. On the job experience counts a lot in this field.

Salary Range:
Ranges from $25,000 to $65,000.
