Aeronautical Drafting Careers

Qualification:
Minimum Post-secondary school, Draftsman training for 2 years duration. There are Diplomas in particular specialties as well. There are entry, middle and advanced levels. A degree in Architecture is beneficial.

Salary Range:
Ranges from $24,000 per annum to $60,000 per annum.

Prospects:
The employment opportunities for such specialized drafting skills are very good. The Aeronautical Drafters are not only good for drafting in relation to aircrafts, missiles etc., they can also be gainfully employed in the Auto Industry. The scope, therefore is tremendous. However, the industry itself being under the influence of cyclical changes in the economy, the demand for Aeronautical drafters is very high during the boom period and lukewarm during recession periods.
